DIY Loft Conversions

TVM LOFTS CAN DO AS MUCH OR AS LITTLE AS YOU WISH!!

Here at TVM we offer a DIY Loft Conversion package as an alternative for those of you who need the structural work carried out but that want to finish the rest off yourself or with family and friends who are in the trade.

Everything starts the same as a Complete Loft Conversion with our Architectural Designer producing drawings to best suit your needs - if you do not already own a set of plans. She liaises with your local council on all planning and building regulation aspects of the work.

TVM Lofts cover all of the structural and strengthening aspects of the conversion, for example supplying and installing the steel to enable the loft to take extra weight, also we make sure that the there is enough head height and we will construct the dormers which allows for more area of full head height if this is part of your deisgn.

TVM Lofts supply and install the individually purpose made staircase which is made in our own joinery workshop by our very own joiner; also we can install any windows requested by the client for example, Velux or UPVC (if you are going to have a dormer - we can match them to the existing windows of your property).

We leave the Loft ready for the client to insulate, board, plaster, to carry out all electrical and plumbing works right down to them decorating how they wish. We are able to tailor each conversion to each clients wants and needs.
