Here are a few sample images and details from our recent roof-lift loft conversion in Lincoln
Front of property before the roof lift took place. |
Before any works can take place scafforlding must be erected around the property. |
The whole of the original roof need to be stripped off ready for the new attic trusses to be lifted into place. |
We arrange for a crane to assist with lifting the new attic trusses into place. |
You can see here how the crane will be lifting the trusses into place. |
Here trusses are being lifted into place. |
Another shot of the new roof going on. |
Most of the new roof has been put into position - to take the old roof off and put the new roof on takes a day to do. |
The internal walls are built up and velux windows are installed where necessary. |
You can see here how much we have been able to raise the original pitch of the roof by. |
We then are able to construct the dormer windows as per the drawings. |
The new roof is then re-felted and new battons are put in place. |
The roof is still being re-felted. |
Side shot of new felted roof. |
The roof is then re-tiled as you can see in the picture above. |
We are able to then fit the UPVC windows to match your existing to the dormers and carry out all the exterior work to the same. |
Our own joiner fits the new purpose made staircase. |
In the interior isulation ad plasterboarding is carried out. |
Once all the plasterboarding is carried out our plasterer will give it a skim finish ready for decoration. |
The owners of this property wanted the gable ends to be tiled in the same style as the roof. |
